Browns select Clifton Geathers with the 186th pick
The Browns selected South Carolina defensive end Clifton Geathers with the 186th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Geathers is 6-foot-7 and 299 pounds.
Clifton Geathers comments:
"This is a great opportunity to join my brother who plays with the Bengals."
"I know a little bit, but I am still a rookie and know I have to learn more. I am willing to learn."
"I am very grateful the Browns gave me a chance. The incident happened, wrong place wrong time ... I've learned from my mistake. I am 6-8 and right now weighing about 302. I'm a freaky guy ... I am not at the top of my game yet."
"I am a very confident guy. This is a business now. I have to work everyday ... my whole game is going to change. I am going to be a freak."
"I wasn't able to play little league or Pop Warner because I was too big."
