The Browns selected T.J. Ward with the 38th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Ward, a 5-foot-10 1/2 and 212-pound defensive back from Oregon, is the sixth selection in the second round. He played safety for the Ducks.
Legendary Browns running back Jim Brown announced the selection live on ESPN standing next to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Browns General Manager Tom Heckert on T.J. Ward:
