Browns sign OL Dominic Alford
The Browns signed offensive lineman Dominic Alford, the team announced today.
Alford, 24, spent the entire 2011 season on the Browns’ practice squad. Last season, he spent the final four weeks on the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers, whose offense was coordinated by new Browns coach Rob Chudzinski.
The 6-foot-3, 320-pound Alford, who attended Shaker Heights High School and the University of Minnesota, has yet to play in an NFL regular-season game. He entered the NFL when the Browns signed him as an undrafted free agent on July 30, 2011.
