Browns sign WR Rod Windsor to practice squad

The Browns signed wide receiver Rod Windsor to their practice squad, the team announced today.
Windsor was with the Browns in training camp this past summer before they waived him Aug. 31 during the final round of cuts. He spent 15 weeks on the Browns’ practice squad last season before being elevated to the 53-man roster for the final two games. He was inactive for both games.
The Browns also cut linebacker Benjamin Jacobs from their practice squad. The move was reported last night.
