Browns tight end Jordan Cameron, strong safety T.J. Ward return to practice; six others sit out

By Nate Ulrich Published: December 27, 2013

Browns tight end Jordan Cameron practiced today for the first time since he suffered a concussion Dec. 15 in a 38-31 loss to the Chicago Bears, a sign he’ll try to play in the season finale Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Strong safety T.J. Ward also returned to practice today after sitting out Thursday with an illness and an injured shoulder.

The following players remained idle and could be ruled out against the Steelers: Cornerback Joe Haden (hip pointer), nose tackle Phil Taylor (concussion), defensive end John Hughes (sprained knee), guards Jason Pinkston (concussion) and Shawn Lauvao (thigh contusion) and tight end Andre Smith (strained calf).

The Browns will reveal their injury report to the media once practice concludes at about 12:30 p.m. today.
