Browns waive third-string QB Thaddeus Lewis to make room for return of CB Joe Haden

The Browns waived third-string quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, the team announced today.
The team made the move so it could place cornerback Joe Haden, who returned from a four-game suspension Monday, back on its active roster.
Lewis was inactive in all five games this season. He completed 9-of-17 passes for 146 yards with one interception in the preseason.
Last season, the Browns claimed Lewis off waivers from the St. Louis Rams, with whom he spent the 2010 season with Shurmur while the latter served as an offensive coordinator. Lewis was inactive for the Browns in 13 games last season and dressed in three others without playing.
