Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi ruled out vs. Ravens because of injured hamstring

The Browns have ruled out starting wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi for their game Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
Massaquoi injured his left hamstring Sunday with about nine minutes left in the third quarter of the Browns’ 24-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. With Massaquoi out, receiver Jordan Norwood is expected to be active for the first time this season.
Massaquoi has nine catches for a team-high 145 yards this season. He has been rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden’s most reliable target.
“He’s a guy that’s been consistent all year,” Weeden said Tuesday. “He’s made a lot of great plays. He’s made plays. He’s a guy I have a lot of confidence in. I’m hoping he comes back sooner rather than later. He’s gonna be missed. He’s a guy that doesn’t make a bunch of mistakes and a competitor, great teammate and kind of a leader for the rest of the receivers.”
The Browns also ruled out tight end Alex Smith (concussion) and rookie linebacker James-Michael Johnson (ribs/oblique).
