Carr could be on Browns' radar
Free agent quarterback David Carr has drawn interest from the 49ers, Cardinals and Browns, according to a report in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, which cites a league source.
Carr, who could also remain with the New York Giants as Eli Manning's backup, visited San Francisco Friday night and Saturday morning. But the first overall pick of the Houston Texans in 2002 would likely be a candidate to start in Cleveland, as opposed to the other three aforementioned teams.
A report on Cleveland.com also said the Browns were interested in trading for Seahawks backup quarterback Seneca Wallace.
Ironically, Carr was tutored from 2002-05 in Houston by former Browns coach Chris Palmer, the Texans former offensive coordinator.
