Casserly: 'Best first round since 1983'
Former Washington Redskins and Houston Texans General Manager Charley Casserly, now with CBS Sports, called this year's draft ''the best first round I've seen since 1983.''
Speaking Friday at the NFL Combine, Casserly added, ''This is the year to have extra picks.''
But he said that didn't apply to the Browns, who have 11 selections, because six of those are in the fifth round or later.
''Those six won't have a big impact on their team, in all honesty,'' Casserly said.
