Delhomme to have x-rays, MRI on right ankle
Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme is expected to undergo tests on the right ankle he injured late in the second quarter of Sunday's 17-14 season-opening loss at Tampa Bay.
Although Browns coach Eric Mangini down played Delhomme's injury Monday, Delhomme was not in the locker room to speak with the media after the team's meetings.
Delhomme went 20-for-37 for 227 yards with a touch down and two interceptions Sunday and was limping noticably toward the end of the second half. He told reporters after the game he was fine.
