DT Ahtyba Rubin returns to practice as Browns resume work after bye

By Nate Ulrich Published: November 12, 2012

Starting defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin returned to practice today as the Browns resumed work following their bye.

Rubin has missed three of the past four games with an injured calf. He has 21 tackles and a sack this season.

Defensive tackle Phil Taylor and kicker Phil Dawson also returned to practice. Both of them were excused from practice last Tuesday by coach Pat Shurmur.

Cornerback Dimitri Patterson is the only Browns player who did not practice today. Patterson has missed the past four games with a sprained left ankle.

Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi continued to practice, even though he limped off the field Nov. 4 late in the fourth quarter of the Browns’ 25-15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Massaquoi missed five consecutive games this season with an injured hamstring.
