Highlights from Browns coach Eric Mangini's press conference
Browns coach Eric Mangini met with media after the Browns' first full-squad practice of training camp. Here are the highlights of the press conference. A transcript of this press conference will be posted when it's made available.
- Mangini said rookie running back Montario Hardesty he recently twisted his knee in a drill. Hardesty was not outside at practice this morning. Mangini said Hardesty could be out for a couple of weeks.
- Rookie cornerback Joe Haden's agent and the Browns' front office are still in negotiations. Each day Haden misses will make his transition to the NFL more difficult, Mangini said.
- Mangini said D'Qwell Jackson has some cobwebs that he has to shake off because he hasn't played in pads for a while after suffering a season-ending in Week 6 of 2009. Mangini said he's confident Jackson will find his rhythm again.
- Mangini said Browns offensive lineman Tony Pashos sat out during the morning practice because he has a cold.
