Browns coach Eric Mangini met with reporters before his team's practice Friday afternoon. Here are some highlights from the press conference:
Browns coach Eric Mangini said two of Jake Delhomme's three interceptions Thursday were products of good plays by the defense. On one play, however, Mangini conceded that Delhomme should have led the receiver a little more. "I don't want any three interception games," Mangini said.
On the flip side, Mangini said he's happy to see the defense forcing takeaways.
Mangini said punter Dave Zastudil is back with the team, but he won't practice today. Zastudil was missing the past couple of days because he was having his surgically repaired right (non-kicking) knee rechecked by his doctor.
When asked if Zastudil needs further surgery, Mangini said, "I don't think we've drawn any conclusions right now. I don't think there's anything new as of yet. We'll talk about it and see where it goes."
