Highlights from press conference with Browns coach Eric Mangini
Browns coach Eric Mangini met with reporters Thursday morning. Here are some highlights from the press conference:
- Mangini said he doesn't have an update on linebacker D'Qwell Jackson. He said Jackson will be seeking a second opinion on his pectoral muscle injury. The plan will be for Jackson to rehab for a couple of weeks and reevaluate, Mangini said.
- Mangini said cornerback Eric Wright might practice this evening and he might play Saturday at Green Bay.
- Quarterbacks Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace will each probably play a quarter Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, Mangini said.
- Offensive lineman John St. Clair cramped up toward the end of practice and should be fine, Mangini said.
- Punter Dave Zastudil is back in town, Mangini said. Mangini said he doesn't know whether or not Zastudil will need surgery again.
