Browns coach Eric Mangini met with reporters on Thursday morning. Here are some of the highlights from the press conference:
Mangini said the players who missed practice Wednesday will miss again Thursday with the exception of defensive end Kenyon Coleman and maybe even defensive lineman Shaun Rogers.
Mangini said wide receivers Josh Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi are feeling better. Mangini said he hopes they will practice by Friday. Both players have been studying and working at the team's facility in Berea, Mangini said.
Mangini said he's on the same page with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan when it comes to the blitz calls. Mangini said the defensive backs can do a better job covering during blitzes, and the players on the front end can do a better job pressuring.
Wide receiver Carlton Mitchell has had two or three really good weeks at practice, Magnini said, adding Mitchell could get his big chance to play Sunday.
