Browns coach Eric Mangini met with reporters Friday morning. Here are some of the highlights from the press conference:
Mangini said rookie quarterback Colt McCoy (high-ankle sprain) will practice today for the first time since Nov. 19, but McCoy will be limited. McCoy could be listed as the team's third quarterback Sunday against the Buffalo Bills depending on practice today and how he feels Saturday, Mangini said.
Although it's not a surprise, Mangini confirmed quarterback Jake Delhomme will start against the Bills. Mangini joked about routinely waiting until Friday to officially reveal the team's starting quarterback.
Mangini said linebacker Scott Fujita, linebacker Titus Brown and tight end Evan Moore will miss practice today. Mangini confirmed Brown suffered a concussion this past Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Brown and Moore, however, have not yet been ruled out for this weekend.
Mangini said linebacker Marcus Benard will return to practice today after missing action Thursday for personal reasons.
