Highlights from press conference with Browns coach Eric Mangini
Browns coach Eric Mangini met with reporters Thursday morning. Here are some of the highlights from the press conference:
- Mangini said a stomach flu caused rookie quarterback Colt McCoy to miss practice Wednesday, but he'll return to practice today.
- Mangini said running back Peyton Hillis (knee) will also return to practice after sitting out Wednesday.
- Tight end Robert Royal (shoulder), defensive end Kenyon Coleman (knee) and linebacker Eric Alexander (groin) will miss practice today, Mangini said.
- Mangini said the Browns signed defensive lineman Ko Quaye to fill tight end Evan Moore's spot on the 53-man active roster. Moore (hip) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Quaye was on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad.
