Cleveland Browns
Jets tab Pool; Hadnot to Cardinals
Browns restricted free agent safety Brodney Pool agreed to a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the New York Jets, according to a league source.
Unrestricted free agent guard Rex Hadnot also found a new home, agreeing to terms on a multi-year deal, according to profootballtalk.com.
Pool did not receive a tender offer from the Browns last week, making him free to sign elsewhere without the Browns receiving compensation. A second-round pick in 2005, Pool suffered at least four concussions in his five-year career.
Hadnot spent two seasons with the Browns, playing primarily at right guard.
