Kokinis in Berea again

By Marla Ridenour Published: January 20, 2009

George Kokinis, the apparent choice to be the Browns new general manager, spent part of Tuesday in Berea before heading back to Baltimore, WKYC Channel 3 reported.

A source said another meeting with Browns owner Randy Lerner has not been scheduled.

Kokinis met with new coach Eric Mangini, his longtime friend, and the Browns coordinators Monday and that session apparently carried over until Tuesday. Kokinis, the Baltimore Ravens director of pro personnel, is expected to be named to his new post by the end of this week.
