Kokinis rejoins Ravens
Former Browns General Manager George Kokinis has rejoined the Baltimore Ravens as the team's senior personnel assistant, the team announced today.
After serving as the Ravens' director of pro personnel from 2003-08, Kokinis left Baltimore to become the Browns' GM. However, he was fired less than a year after he made his move to Cleveland.
"It's good to have George back," Ravens GM and Executive Vice President Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. "He will help evaluate college and pro players, plus work with Pat (Moriarty, Ravens vice president of football administration). George knows the game, understands what it takes to win, and he will help us find players who will help us win. He has done that before for us."
