Coach Eric Mangini could have officially began his tenure as the Cleveland Browns head coach with a little more bluster. Fans expecting that didn't get it as the team passed on introduction instead coming out as a unit. Message received.
The Vikings greeted the Browns as such, not worrying much about the Browns offense and kicking the ball onsides to start the game. Abe Elam recovered the ball and t he Browns turned that it into a quick three points on an eight-play 31 yard drive that began at the Browns 48. It also featured offensive specialist Josh Cribbs under center once.
