Mangini speaks to Kosar weekly
Browns coach Eric Mangini said he's been talking to unofficial consultant Bernie Kosar about once a week and the former Browns quarterback has also been a sounding board for offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
''He's been great with Brian, talking to him and sharing ideas, bouncing ideas off of him,'' Mangini said.
In other nuggets from his Monday press conference, defensive end Kenyon Coleman and receiver Brian Robiskie suffered ankle injuries against the Raiders. Mangini said Coleman has a better chance of playing in the season finale against Jacksonville than Robiskie.
Mangini said Mike Furrey played 58 snaps at safety and another 19 at receiver.
He lauded receivers Chansi Stuckey and Mohamed Massaquoi for their outstanding blocking in the running game.
