Browns defensive end C.J. Mosley left the game with 3:26 left in the first quarter with a right ankle injury. He started in place of Kenyon Coleman, who was out with a knee injury suffered last week at Cincinnati.
Mosley was helped off the field, but had to be carted to the locker room. Brian Schafering, promoted from the practice squad last week, took over at left end.
The Browns were already playing without Coleman, nose tackle Shaun Rogers (ankle/lower leg surgery) and free safety Brodney Pool (concussion), all hurt against the Bengals. Both starting inside linebackers, D'Qwell Jackson (pectoral surgery) and Eric Barton (neck) have also been placed on injured reserve this season.
