NFL fines Lions rookie DT Ndamukong Suh for hit on Browns QB Jake Delhomme
Detroit Lions rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was fined $7,500 for his helmet-twisting hit and subsequent takedown of Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme last weekend during a preseason game at Ford Field, a league spokesman confirmed Friday. Earlier this week, Browns backup quarterback Seneca Wallace said he thought Suh should be suspended, but the league fined Suh instead.
