Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright
Height: 5 feet, 10 2/8 inches.
Weight: 188 pounds.
NFLDraftScout.com projection: First-round pick.
Breakdown: Wright lacks ideal size, though he's confident his athletic ability will lead to success as the next level. "I have attributes besides height that make up for it," Wright said. "I can jump really high. I can run really fast. I can accelerate. I can do a lot of things, and I guess that will help me." But Wright made those comments before he posted a disappointing time of 4.61 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. "The guy I was most surprised with as far as his 40 on the downside was the Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright," NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock said. "On tape, I thought he was DeSean Jackson, just a notch below him from a speed perspective. To see him run 4.6, I was stunned. Kendall Wright ran slow." Wright will look for redemption March 21 at Baylor's pro day. Wright said he talked to the Browns, who desperately need to bolster their receiving corps, last week at the combine. He might be available when the Browns are put on the clock with the 22nd overall pick -- assuming they don't trade it.
