Poll: Should the Browns trade down?
The first round of the NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. today, and the Browns own the sixth overall pick. Whether they stay at No. 6 remains to be seen. The New England Patriots have had discussions with the Browns about moving up to No. 6, the Boston Globe reported.
The Patriots have two first-round draft picks (Nos. 17 and 28) and could trade those to move up to No. 6. They could also package No. 17 and a combination of later picks.
The Browns obviously have several holes to fill and could benefit from acquiring extra selections. On the other hand, they might miss a chance to draft an elite player if they move out of the top 10.
