Poll: Would it be "dumb as hell" to break up the Browns' coaching staff?
Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan issued his strongest statement yet about the future of the coaching staff Thursday during a news conference.
Ryan said he doesn't know if Browns President Mike Holmgren will keep the coaching staff for next season or disassemble it. He said he understands the speculation about making changes because of the team's 5-9 record, but he thinks it would be unwise to give up on Browns coach Eric Mangini and Co.
"If they break it up ... that would be dumb as hell," Ryan said.
