The Browns (2-3) practiced today in preparation for their home game Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks (2-3). Reporters were allowed to watch about a half-hour of practice. Here's what you need to know about the open session:
The following players did not practice: running back Peyton Hillis (hamstring), cornerback Joe Haden (knee), linebacker Scott Fujita (concussion), safety Ray Ventrone (hamstring) and offensive lineman Artis Hicks (undisclosed). Ventrone and Hicks watched the beginning of practice from the sideline. There were no sightings of Hillis, Haden and Fujita. Coach Pat Shurmur said Fujita was sent home because he was dealing with symptoms from his concussion.
Rookie cornerback Buster Skrine left practice with a trainer, though his injury wasn't apparent. The injury report will be released after 4 p.m. today.
Center Alex Mack practiced. He played against the Oakland Raiders this past Sunday after having an appendectomy on Oct. 3.
