By Nate Ulrich Published: September 9, 2011

The Browns practiced this morning in preparation for their regular-season opener Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Reporters were allowed to watch about 15 minutes of practice. Here is what you need to know about the open period:

  • Rookie Jason Pinkston and Tony Pashos worked at left guard and right tackle, respectively. Artis Hicks and Oniel Cousins rotated in at left guard and right tackle, respectively.

  • Tight end Benjamin Watson (hip) and linebacker Chris Gocong (pinched nerve in neck) practiced for the third consecutive day.

  • Rookie strong safety Eric Hagg (left knee surgery) continued to work out on an exercise bike on the practice field.
