Practice notes: OL Tony Pashos still missing

By Nate Ulrich Published: September 15, 2011

The Browns practiced this afternoon in preparation for their road game Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Reporters were allowed to watch about 20 minutes of practice. Here is what you need to know about the open period:

  • Offensive lineman Tony Pashos, the projected starter at right tackle, was not at practice. He practiced last Thursday and Friday, but was inactive Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. On Wednesday, Pashos described the injury as "a tweak" of his ankle. He's hopeful he won't need surgery. "I’m praying not to," Pashos said. "Like I said, I’m optimistic about it. I feel like I’ve got some of the best people around me, best opinions and we’re going forward with it."

  • Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi appeared to be fine while running routes . He was limited Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

  • Linebacker Titus Brown (ankle) and strong safety Eric Hagg (knee) were on the field working out on exercise bikes.
