Practice notes: QB Colt McCoy sits out Browns' final practice of season
The Browns (4-11) practiced today in preparation for their home game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-4). Reporters were allowed to watch about the first 20 minutes of practice. Here's what you need to know about the open session:
- Quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), wide receiver Jordan Norwood (concussion) and right tackle Tony Pashos (illness) did not practice. McCoy never returned to practice after suffering a concussion Dec. 8 as a result of the helmet-to-facemask hit he took from Steelers linebacker James Harrison. The Browns will not hold another practice this season.
- Artis Hicks continued to practice at right tackle with first-team offense. He replaced Pashos.
