Practice notes: QB Colt McCoy, WR Jordan Norwood, RT Tony Pashos sit out

By Nate Ulrich Published: December 29, 2011

The Browns (4-11) practiced today in preparation for their home game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-4). Reporters were allowed to watch about the first 30 minutes of practice. Here's what you need to know about the open session:

  • Quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), wide receiver Jordan Norwood (concussion) and right tackle Tony Pashos (illness) did not practice.

  • Backup linebacker Quinton Spears returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday. He suffered a concussion this past Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Artis Hicks practiced at right tackle with first-team offense. He replaced Pashos.
