The Browns (4-7) practiced today in preparation for their road game Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens (8-3). Reporters were allowed to watch about 30 minutes of practice. Here's what you need to know about the open session:
Running back Montario Hardesty (calf) practiced today after sitting out Wednesday. He worked in individual drills but not team drills. Hardesty, who's pictured to the right, was expected to play Sunday for the first time since Oct. 30, though he sat out because his calf bothered him during pregame warm-ups.
Free safety Mike Adams (shoulder) returned to practice today after sitting out Wednesday. He was limited.
Strong safety T.J. Ward (foot) and linebacker Quinton Spears (hamstring) didn't practice today. Ward stretched with team as the session started.
Linebacker Scott Fujita, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, had successful surgery on his broken right hand Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic, a team spokesman said. Doctors Tom Graham and Mark Schickendantz performed the procedure.
