The Browns have claimed offensive lineman Oniel Cousins off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens, Adam Caplan of Sirius-XM Radio reported tonight. Cousins was waived by the Ravens on Saturday.

The Browns have formally announced the move. Cleveland was the only team that submitted a claim for Cousins, Caplan reported.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Cousins has started four of the 25 games in which he has appeared since the Ravens selected him out of the University of Texas-El Paso in the third round (99th overall) of the 2008 draft. Cousins, 27, started at right tackle and right guard during this preseason, but he was demoted from both jobs and eventually let go.
