Report: Browns inquire about Eagles QB Kevin Kolb
The Browns reportedly called the Philadelphia Eagles Tuesday night about a possible trade for quarterback Kevin Kolb. According to the report, they were told Kolb is not available.
Browns General Manager Tom Heckert is familiar with Kolb from his days in the Eagles' front office. Eagles coach Andy Reid recently replaced Kolb as the Eagles' starting quarterback. Michael Vick will take over those duties.
Meanwhile, Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme missed practice Wednesday with a right ankle injury. Delhomme was hurt in Cleveland's season opener and has not practiced since. In Week 2, Seneca Wallace became the 15th starting quarterback for the Browns since 1999.
