Browns wide receivers Greg Little and Josh Gordon received speeding tickets and Little crashed a car in April, 19 Action News (WOIO) reported today.
None of the incidents involved alcohol, and Little was in a single-car crash, a team spokesman said.
The Browns also issued the following statement: “We’re aware of the situation involving the players and their unacceptable driving records. We take matters such as this very seriously. We’ve spoken to both individuals, and will address the issue with the entire team.”
Little was cited Monday night for driving 81 mph in a 60-mph zone on I-71 in Strongsville and for driving with expired license plates, according to the report.
In April, Little admitted to driving 127 mph on the Jennings Freeway in Cleveland, where he lost control, hit a guardrail and knocked down a light pole, according to the report. He was fined $350.
Gordon was cited for driving 45 mph in a 25-mph zone in May and did not appear in court as scheduled, according to the report. Last week, he was cited for traveling 98 mph in a 60-mph zone.
