Report: Scott Turner interviewing QBs for Vikings at Senior Bowl

Another member of former Browns coach Rob Chudzinski’s staff appears headed to the Minnesota Vikings.

Browns wide receivers coach Scott Turner will coach quarterbacks for the Vikings, joining his father, new Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner, according to Master Tesfatsion of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Alex Marvez of Alex Marvez of Fox Sports first reported Thursday that Scott Turner would likely join the Vikings staff.

The Vikings have not announced Scott Turner’s hiring, but the Star Tribune reported that he has been meeting with quarterbacks at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas and Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd said they talked with Scott Turner, according to the Star Tribune.

Scott Turner has three years experience in the NFL, spending 2011-12 as an offensive quality control coach for the Carolina Panthers, where Chudzinski was offensive coordinator.

Norv Turner served as offensive coordinator for the Browns last season.
