The Browns have potential reality TV stars of their own
With Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers and VH1 reality TV stars Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens coming to Cleveland this weekend, I started to think about which Browns players and/or coaches would be the most entertaining to watch. Believe me, there are definitely some characters in Berea, too. Just ask coach Eric Mangini.
"(Tight end) Robert Royal would be pretty funny if he had a reality TV show," Mangini said. "I’d probably want to group them together like get four or five guys together and put them in a house sort of like the Cleveland Shore, something like that, the Lakefront. I’d have to do the full casting to see what the theme is but Robert is definitely one of them. (Fullback Lawrence) Vickers he’d be fun to have in that mix. (Linebacker Blake) Costanzo, throw him in that house. I don’t know give me another day or two but I could get a good cast. You throw (defensive coordinator) Rob (Ryan) in there, he could be the house mother or something. What do they call that in college, an RA? He’d walk down every night make sure everyone’s asleep. I think we’ve got something. SportsTime Ohio, you’ll see it."
Vickers embraced the idea.
"That would be the craziest show ever," Vickers said. "No, seriously. Me, Blake and Royal? ... One more guy if I had to pick -- (linebacker) Titus Brown. Titus Brown is a monster. I would (do it). I love the camera."
