Linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, offensive tackle Joe Thomas and kick returner Josh Cribbs finished in the top five of their respective positions in the AFC in Pro Bowl fan voting.

The AFC and NFC all-star teams are based on the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes today and Thursday. The teams will be announced at 7 p.m. Dec. 27 on NFL Network.

Jackson, who's pictured to the left, received 186,594 votes from fans, finishing third in the AFC and eighth in the NFL among inside linebackers. Thomas received 178,385 votes, placing fifth in the AFC and ninth in the NFL among offensive tackles. Cribbs received 96,909 votes, taking third in the AFC and sixth in the NFL among kick returners.

Jackson has never been selected to a Pro Bowl. Thomas has been named to one in each of the past four seasons. Cribbs made the Pro Bowl in 2007 and 2009.

The 2012 Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 29, 2012, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
