Video: Cavs douse Tyronn Lue with water after winning Game 2, breaking record held by Pat Riley

Following a win in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers doused head coach Tyronn Lue with water. 

It wasn't just a prank. The team was congratulating Lue on breaking the record for most consecutive wins by a rookie head coach. Lue now has 10 in a row, surpassing the record held by Pat Riley.

CLEVELAND: Twenty-one thoughts for 21 3-point attempts in Thursday’s 108-89 Game 2 victory over the Toronto Raptors for a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals…

1.      In the pregame session prior to Game 4 in Atlanta during the conference semifinals, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer approached the podium like a man defeated. For three games, he tried everything he could think of to disrupt the Cavs’ rhythm.

2.      He switched defensive schemes, juggled his starting lineup and rotation. Some of it worked quite well.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar watches LeBron James take game to higher level, shares 'cool' moment afterward

CLEVELAND: Last year before Game 3 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James bowed in front of legendary Browns running back Jim Brown.

James crossed paths with another iconic Hall of Famer on Thursday night at Quicken Loans Arena. As he sprinted off the court after a 108-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals, he spied former Los Angeles Lakers center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar standing outside the Cavaliers locker room, shaking hands with players as they entered.

James and Abdul-Jabbar first did the same, then embraced and patted each other on the back.

“How are you feeling?” Abdul-Jabbar, 69, asked James, the video of the encounter posted on Abdul-Jabbar’s Twitter.

CLEVELAND: The Cleveland Cavaliers are having fun in the 2016 NBA Playoffs.

Need proof?

How about when Channing Frye was trying to conduct an interview with members of the media after the Cavs defeated the Toronto Raptors 108-89 before a sellout crowd of 20,562 at Quicken Loans Arena to take a two games to none lead in the best of seven Eastern Conference Finals.

Frye was playfully harassed by teammates Timofey Mozgov, Iman Shumpert, Dahntay Jones, James Jones and LeBron James during the four-minute Q&A.
