The Cavaliers made a championship caliber move Wednesday night by acquiring Antawn Jamison.
But what happens if the trade backfires and the Cavs are unable to win the championship?
"It stunk three years ago, it stunk two years ago, it stunk last year and it will be awful this year,'' Cleveland Cavaliers General manager Danny Ferry said if his team does not win a title. "We want to be a team that's competing for it every year. We want to always be one of the best two, three, four teams in the league that has a chance."
"We've been able to do that the last few years. It's given us a realization, an appreciation of how hard it is and it's made us hungrier to do it. If we can't do it this year it will be awful."
But it won't be the end of it all. Ferry and the Cavaliers expect to be a championship caliber competitor for years to come.
