Cavs announce training camp roster
The Cavaliers added point guard Kevin Anderson to their training camp roster, giving them 19 players with a 20th likely coming soon. NBA rules allow teams 20 players for training camp and the Cavs are expected to fill all 20 spots.
Anderson, 23, is listed at 6 feet tall. He played collegiately at Richmond and was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 2010 before going undrafted, forcing him to sign in France. He averaged 12.5 points and 3.5 assists for Strasbourg IG last season.
The Cavs' camp roster as of Friday: Anderson, Kelenna Azubuike, Omri Casspi, Michael Eric, Alonzo Gee, Daniel Gibson, Luke Harangody, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Jones, Jon Leuer, C.J. Miles, Jeremy Pargo, Samardo Samuels, Donald Sloan, Tristan Thompson, Anderson Varejao, Dion Waiters, Luke Walton and Tyler Zeller.
