Cavs-Bucks 1st quarter report
Cavs 20, Bucks 16
* Mo Williams was a late scratch following the death of his father-in-law. He has temporarily returned to Cleveland to gather his family before flying to Mississippi for the funeral. Ramon Sessions started at point guard in his place. It's been a tough preseason for the Cavs. First Anderson Varejao's grandfather died, now Williams' father-in-law.
* Antawn Jamison returned midway through the first quarter, making his first appearance since spraining his knee Oct. 14 against San Antonio. Jamison's future in terms of starter or sixth man will be determined within the next day or two. Jamison is playing with a purpose. He doesn't want to come off the bench, but he will if he has to.
* The Bucks' Andrew Bogut and Drew Gooden might be the best post combination the Cavs have faced during the preseason, since they missed Houston's Yao Ming and the Spurs' Tim Duncan. Bogut and Gooden combined for five blocks in the quarter.
* Byron Scott was reminded before the game that Yahoo! Sports' Kelly Dwyer predicted the Cavs will win 12 games this season. "That's funny," Scott said. "Seriously, I look at it as kind of a joke. He's out of his mind."
