Cavs Head West Without Gibson
Already on an eight-game skid, the Cavs will head out west for the first time this season without guard Daniel Gibson. Gibson sprained his ankle during Wednesday night's game against the Raptors.
Averaging 13.7 points per game and 3.1 assists, the Cavs will miss Gibson's offense, but his defense will be missed as well.
'When I say we're going to miss him, it's not just on the offensive end, believe me. He's one of our toughest guys, mentally as well as physically,'' Scott said. ''We can put him on point guards, he takes the challenge. He gets through screens. He's real good as far as individual defense and not letting guys beat him off the dribble. He's one of our better weak side defenders as well.''
High praise indeed.
