Half: Cavs 52, Pistons 51
*The Cavs have been sloppy as evidenced by their 11 turnovers in the first half, including eight in the second quarter. The Pistons, though, have often failed to make them pay.
*Hollins came to life in the second quarter to score all eight of his first-half points. Hickson led the Cavs in the first half with 16 points and nine rebounds.
*Forward Austin Daye came off the bench to lead the Pistons in the first half with 12 points.

End 1Q: Cavs 26, Pistons 24
*With Hollins starting again at center, Hickson moved to power forward and thrived early in the game. Hickson finished the first quarter with 12 points, three rebounds and a blocked shot.

Point guard Ramon Sessions, who started again for the Cavs but is expected to soon return to the bench when Davis feels he is ready to start, had four assists and shot 3-of-4 from the field for six points in the opening quarter.
*Guard Richard Hamilton led the Pistons in the first quarter with 10 points.
