Cavs recall Jon Leuer from D-League
The Cavaliers recalled Jon Leuer from Canton on Thursday after a brief stint in the Development League.
Leuer averaged 20.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in six games, all starts, with the Canton Charge. He has appeared in five games for the Cavs, averaging 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds.
The Cavs initially sent Leuer down to get some playing time -- and work on his confidence. They won't know whether it worked or not for a few days. The Cavs were off Thursday.
"I hope this really helps him," Scott said recently. "I think the kid has some talent, but I can't have more confidence in you than you have in yourself. You have to come out there and do it on the court as well. I think this stint will help him get that back, then when he gets back up here, hopefully he'll continue to play that way."
