Cavs sign swingman D.J. Kennedy

The Cavaliers signed guard/forward D.J. Kennedy from Erie of the Development League on Saturday. Kennedy takes the roster spot of Lester Hudson, who signed with the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

Kennedy started 44 games for the BayHawks, averaging 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists. He shot 45 percent from the floor and 38 percent on 3-pointers. The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder 

Kennedy, 22, is 6-foot-6 and weighs 215. He played four seasons at St. John's, surpassing the 1,000-point mark his senior year.
