A testy exchange between LeBron James and the Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah added some spice to what had been a lackluster affair Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
Noah apparently had an issue with James busting a couple of moves out on the court with six minutes left in the game. Noah said something about it to James who then walked over to the Bulls bench, drawing a technical from the officials. James was asked if the dancing upset Noah.
‘’I don't know. It's not my worry at all. We got a good win,’’ he said. ‘’ That's what we do, we have fun when we play basketball. If there's a problem we handle it on the court.’’
When asked what happend, Noah said ‘’nothing’’ and denied that any conversation took place. When pressed he added: ‘’It’s just frustrating to lose, you know? It’s just frustrating to lose the way we have been losing lately.’’ James said that he didn’t mean any disrespect toward Noah or the Bulls.
"This is not something that is new. We have fun. We love to play the game of bball. It's nothing aboout showboating on a team. I've seen it happen all last year. I think he was more frustrated about the way he played as an individual.’’ Noah scored just seven points and had 10 rebounds on the night.
