Cavs Wine & Gold Scrimmage Returns Oct. 3
The Cavaliers announced Wednesday that the Wine and Gold Scrimmage will return to the University of Akron’s James A. Rhodes Arena for the sixth consecutive year. The intrasquad game will tipoff at noon, Oct. 3 and include Fan Fest, which will feature interactive games and activities for the entire family. The scrimmage represents the first time that fans will be able to see Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James together. Vouchers redeemable for a single ticket will be available. Vouchers will be available at First Merit Bank branches in Summit, Cuyahoga, Portage, Geauga, Lake, Stark and Wayne counties beginning Monday. A limit of four vouchers will be available to those 18 years and older. They may be redeemed at the University of Akron box office or Quicken Loans Arena box office. Seating is limited and tickets are available on at first come, first serve basis. Getting a voucher isn’t a guarantee of getting a ticket.
