Cavs-Wizards In-Game Report
Half: Wizards 50, Cavs 47
* Much better defensive effort in the second quarter for the Cavs, who held the Wizards to 7 of 25 shooting for the quarter.
* Ramon Sessions has 12 points, Joey Graham has six points and played nearly the entire second quarter. J.J. Hickson has seven points and eight rebounds.
* John Wall has six points and two assists, and more importantly, the Cavs have kept the Wizards' big men off the boards. JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche have a total of five rebounds. Blatche had 16 offensive rebounds himself the last time these two teams met.
End 1Q: Wizards 35, Cavs 23
* It's the last game of the season and the Cavs are playing like it. Andray Blatche destroyed the Cavs in their meeting in Washington last week, now Maurice Evans -- Maurice Evans -- is doing it. Evans has 12 points and hasn't missed yet (5 of 5).
* The Cavs already have six turnovers and they're shooting 32 percent. The Wizards are shooting 57 percent.
* Baron Davis, Semih Erden and Samardo Samuels are all sitting out with injuries. It was Byron Scott's call to give Davis the night off after his back flared up the last few games.
